It's time I updated this thing.
I'm a dabbler. Meaning when it comes strictly to walls, I look up things as I go, I've had no real guidance or training, and many times (unfortunately) a project will sit untouched for months at a time to the point that when I come back to it, I often forget the techniques I used or how I used them!
I love anime, manga and video games. I think it's great how people can take official artwork or even fuzzy screen shots and turn them into beautiful pieces of digital art.
I work a lot and unfortunately activities outside of work prevent me from being serious about walling, namely learning how to vector properly and the like. I was an English major, not an art major, so I don't have a tablet or anything, but I do use Adobe Photoshop to the best of my ability, which means I play around with it, mess around with this texture, that layer, and look up various help guides and tutorials via Google when I need it and hope I execute the instructions properly. I do have Photoshop for dummies, but haven't read it yet.
As much as I'd love to be a regular contributor to this site, walling unfortunately has fallen to the bottom of my list of things I need to take care of. Still, I hope one day to create something that AP can proudly display on my behalf. Thanks for reading!
