Yeah, my life is pretty busy at the moment with school, work, and pursuing a career haha. It is a pleasant surprise to see that you're lurking around here~ You should catch me up on how things have been going with you! ^.^

No worries. Mmmm, http://www.trismugistus.com/ and digital bondage used to have a good tut for fixing/blending scans to make them better...but the website seems to be down?

Basically once you have extracted your scan (so that it is your layer 1, layer) hit cntrl-j and duplicate it 3x (so you have layers 1-4). Make layer 1 invisible, and put a guassin blur on layer 3 (the middle layer) then go to the topmost layer (layer 4) and do a smart blur and change the default settings to 2 and 75... The go back to the middle layer (layer 3) and hit the opacity to 50 percent and set it to overlay, and go to the topmost layer (layer 4) and and drop the opacity to 25 percent and soft light/hard light (your preference). Leave the bottom-most layer alone (layer 2) and you should have a nicer looking scan now.

Otherwise, if the lines are still present, you may have to totally vector the image from scratch.

The scan came from the site I mentioned, which linked/credited back to minitokyo and I went there and found the image...the uploader said it was uploaded from an official artbook. I assume it's legit, that's really the only reason I used it (plus it looks cool).

I did not to any vectoring to it really. I will work on your suggestions.

My undergraduate concentration was a double major in creative writing and philosophy. Clearly, there is not much to do with either...but it fits nicely into the nitty-gritty of English teaching.

I teach English, grade 8 (currently) I have also taught grades 7,8,11,12.

Yes, I half-jest with those ridiculous journal entries, and yes sometimes I think I am a glutton for punishment, however, I do not give hw every night, so when I do, I know it is worth it (as it enhances that development of my students).

Still, when my students protest, I simply tell them, that by giving them hw I am giving myself hw...

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love the artwork from that movie, it's amazing and breathtaking. I've always wanted to repaint the scene of the two of them underneath the tree when they kiss.... it's so romantic and lovely! <3

As for me, I've been working on the same wall for the past month. Reason for it is because I only get to work on it like once every two weeks (last year in college so I have to buckle down and study hard!) but hopefully I'll put it out before the end of the month :D It's a really detailed one @_@
